We only ship our packages on Mondays to Thursdays to avoid that your ferments - e.g. standing at your neighbor's over the weekend - are on the road for more than 72 hours and therefore not cooled optimally. Orders received after 1pm on Thursdays will not be shipped until the following week.

Cold chain and acceptance of parcels
We ship our packages with cooling elements and maximum sustainable organic hemp cushion insulation. Both together guarantee cooling for up to 48-72 hours. However, we are aware that the postal service may take longer, especially for international shipments or if the package is dropped off at a neighbor's house.
However: a break in the cold chain by a few days is no cause for concern at all - fermented vegetables are extremely stable and may last weeks to months unrefrigerated.
Nevertheless, we have taken it upon ourselves to adhere to this as best we can. This is because rising temperatures can lead to increased activity of the living lactic acid bacteria (probiotics) in our jars. The resulting fermentation gases can then cause the lid to swell and the brine to leak. As mentioned, this does not affect the shelf life of our ferments, but of course we want our lovingly designed jars to reach you in good condition.
So please make sure that your package can be accepted directly at the first delivery attempt, so that the ferments do not get too warm!
Although we also deliver to Packstations, we expressly point out that this shipping option should only be used to pick up the package directly in the evening after the office and not to leave it there overnight or for several days after delivery. We can only guarantee ideal cooling of our products in the shipping package for a maximum of 48h.
Disclaimer in case of non-acceptance within 72h
The recipient* is responsible for accepting the order upon delivery. Since our products (fresh produce) have a limited shelf life, a delay in delivery means the risk of the goods spoiling, bloating and leaking. If goods spoil or leak because the shipment is not received, we consider this as a failure of the customer*, for which we are not liable and still charge the value of the goods. If you are not able to receive the shipment personally because you are not at home at the time of delivery of the parcel service, you should leave an alternative address for the delivery company, or already specify a different delivery address when ordering.

Shipping service provider
We send all shipments with DHL Go Green. The choice of another parcel service is unfortunately not possible at this time. DHL makes up to two delivery attempts, if you are not to be found at both attempts, the package will be ready for pickup at the nearest post office for 7 business days. After that, the package will be returned to us - in such cases, we reserve the right to charge you for the additional costs incurred for a new delivery. Due to the cooling situation described above, you should always pick up your package at the post office as soon as possible.
The delivery time for parcels within Germany with DHL-Standard is usually 1-2 business days.
For orders made with prepayment, the payment must be received in our bank account by Wednesday 10 am in order to ship the same day. Later receipt of payment will result in shipment on the next Monday.
Delivery times for European and international shipments vary from country to country. We will be happy to provide exact information for individual countries by e-mail at email@example.com.
Within Germany, parcels can also be sent to DHL parcel stations. For this purpose, the postal number must be entered in the "Address addition/postal number" field during the ordering process; the word "Packstation" must be entered as the street and the respective number of the Packstation as the house number.
You can also enter an alternative delivery address in the order process if you want to ship to an address other than the billing address.

The following applies to consumers: Completeorganics assumes the transport risk. In the event that ordered goods arrive damaged in transit, the customer should complain to the delivery company as soon as possible and contact Completeorganics. Failure to make a complaint has no consequences for the legal claims to which the customer is entitled and their enforcement, in particular the warranty rights. However, such a procedure helps Completeorganics to assert the claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.
