Grilled cheese sandwich with kimchi

No ordinary cheese sandwich: this vegan grilled cheese sandwich with melted Viva la Faba cheese slices made from organic fava beans and original kimchi from Complete Organics brings real umami to your plate.
Ingredients

2 large slices of fresh potato bread
6 slices of Viva la Faba Intensivo
4 tbsp Original Kimchi⁠
Vegan butter
A few spring onions

This is how we proceed
  1. Wash and finely chop the spring onions.
  2. Heat some vegan butter in a pan. Once hot, add the spring onions and fry briefly.
  3. Place the bread slices – without toppings at first – in the pan and toast them lightly on both sides until golden brown. This adds extra crunch and flavour.
  4. When the bread slices are crispy, place three slices of Viva la Faba cheese, some kimchi and another three slices of cheese directly on one slice of bread in the pan. Then place the second slice of bread on top as a lid.
  5. Cover the pan with a lid so that the sandwich heats evenly. This will make the bread golden brown and crispy on the outside, while the cheese softens and melts on the inside.
  6. Once the grilled cheese sandwich with kimchi is nicely browned, cut it in half and enjoy immediately.
