Kimchi fried rice

Kimchi Kitchen Hacks: Is your kimchi too sour? Then fry up some delicious kimchi fried rice – quick to make, filling and full of flavour.
Ingredients

150 g rice
200 g tofu
2 green onions
200 g peas
1-2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
10 tbsp e.g. Original Kimchi
Cooking oil

This is how we proceed
  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet or use chilled rice from the day before.
  2. Cut the tofu into very small cubes.
  3. Wash the green onions and chop them finely.
  4. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden brown.
  5. Add the rice, spring onions and peas, cover and fry for a few minutes.
  6. Mix in the soy sauce and kimchi and fry for a few more minutes until well combined.
  7. Tip: If you like, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds over the kimchi fried rice.
