Lemon pasta with Spicy Kimchi

Spicy lemon pasta with kimchi: lemony, spicy and full of flavour. With seasonal vegetables such as fresh kale, it can be transformed into an aromatic feel-good dish in no time at all - quick to make, versatile and perfect for your creative everyday cooking.
Ingredients for two portions

200 g spaghetti + cooking noodle water
1 clove of garlic
100 g kale
2 lemons (juice + zest)
2 tbsp Olivenöl
1 tsp salt
0,5 tsp pepper
1 tsp chilli flakes
e.g. Spicy Kimchi
1 handful of parsley
Optional: more chilli flakes

This is how we proceed

  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water according to the package instructions.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  3. Grate the lemon zest and squeeze the juice.
  4. Wash the kale, pat dry, and remove the leaves from the stems.
  5. Heat some olive oil in a pan. Sauté the garlic, chili flakes, and kale in it. Season with salt and pepper, add the lemon juice and zest, and stir in a little pasta water.
  6. Petersilie waschen, trocken tupfen und fein hacken.
  7. Wash the parsley, pat dry, and chop finely. Drain the pasta and arrange on plates with the sauce and spicy kimchi.
  8. Optionally, sprinkle some chili flakes on top.
